Designed in the 1930's by legendary Art Deco architects Henry Hohauser and L. Murray Dixon, the Royal is a classic example of Art Deco architecture revamped for the 21st Century.
The new Royal has returned to its original splendor, displaying an artful blend of past, present and future design, featuring unique, 'funkadelic' furnishings that are as much functional as they are works of art.
Each of the 42 brightly colored rooms at the Miami Beach Royal Hotel feature a modular queen sized 'floating' bed with a head board that doubles as a bar, a unique chaise lounge designed exclusively for the Royal, kitchenettes, Italian marble floors and new tiled baths. Room amenities include digital safes, CD players, Cable TV with HBO and individually remote controlled air conditioners.
Royal Hotel South Beach is located in the heart of the Art Deco District with on-site restaurants, cigar bar lounge, and bike and skate rental shop.
